Bonnie's Bakery

Welp, this is my first review!

The game that will be the VERY FIRST to be reviewed will be the cute baker game, Bonnie's Bakery! All thanks goes to aislebsoupid on itch.io for making this awesome game :) btw this game is free to play ;)

The first thing that grabbed my attention was the artstyle of this game. All the characacters are these adorable little animals like cats, dogs, pigs and bears! Bonnie though is just a human, so its kind of an Animal Crossing situation. The artists of this game did an amazing job with not just the character designs but with the food art too. You ever watch a cartoon and you just wanna eat the food because its drawn so well? Yeah, dont play this game if you're hungry!

If you've played any type of resturant management game then you'll be pretty familar with the gameplay of Bonnie's Bakery. Take a customers request, make their food, and hopefully get it out to them before they run out of patience. Every person who's worked in customers service knows the horror of an angry customer. Luckily, angry customers will be the worst you'll have to deal with!

My playthrough of the first day started off simple at first but once lunch rush came around it got pretty nerve-wracking (just like real life!) The gameplay is very enganging, and I found myself actually sweating as I tried getting cakes and meat buns out to customers on time! Of course, the adorable art really does take a lot of stress off. It's hard to be scared of an angry kitty. Anyways, I complete my first day and Bonnie is ready to go grab some fresh ingredients! But before that one of the customers comes up to Bonnie and talks about missing people. Weird!

Oh no its SANS! And a weird dungeon too!

Yup! Turns out after playing as Bonnie, you now are playing as one of the people who have gone missing. And whats worse is it turns out you're in Bonnies basement! Turns out her "fresh ingredients" is... uh... people! Or uh animals? Animal people!

Something something the cake was a lie

Well, once all that settles in you talk to this panda guy whos missing some limbs. He tells you to get out and to not let Bonnie catch you. So I tried (emphasis on tried) Seeing the cute character you were just playing as, chase you down and kill you is truly an experience. Yeah, I didnt get out lmao. But I got one of the endings! It seems that theres 5 endings and I'm very excited to try and escape again!

Bonnie's Bakery is a pretty sweet treat. The first half being a fun management sim and the second half being a stealth horror game. What more could you want!
